Hudak On Caledonia

Well, it's not the *particular* miscarriage of justice we all think about when the word "Caledonia" comes to mind....but it's something.

Also, the LCBO likes to waste money and energy producers are leaving for the U.S., citing over-regulation in Dalton's Ontario.

Isn't it amazing what we can accomplish when we point out actual examples of Dalton's incompetence?

  1. Very interesting analysis of the LCBO Air Mile program. On the one hand the government is raising prices on all products so as to discourage over indulgence, according to a news release. On the other hand the LCBO encourages drinking with an Air Mile program. Indeed why is the LCBO in this game at all; why does it have a huge advertising and promotional budget when there is no significant competition?
Cancelling all promotion and reflecting the savings in lower prices would be welcomed by consumers. This unfortunately is not the LCBO way.

  2. It's amazing to see that now that the election is over, Tim Hudak has returned to sounding like a Conservative. If only we had heard more of this sort of thing during the election, and less of his "McGuinty light" ideas.
